Welcome to our Meet the Animals page, where you can learn more about the animals raised on our farm. We take pride in caring for our chickens, rabbits, turkeys, ducks, and livestock with attention to housing, nutrition, and daily management.

Our poultry includes heritage and dual-purpose breeds selected for strong growth and steady production. We also raise rabbits suited for homestead environments. Each animal receives proper feed, clean water, and attentive care throughout every stage of development.

We focus on responsible, small-scale practices that support healthy animals and quality products. Whether you are purchasing live animals, hatching eggs, or farm-raised meats, we believe it is important for you to know how and where your animals are raised.

We invite you to explore each category to learn more about the specific breeds and products we offer.

Hello Pork!

Meet Pork!

Pork is our laid-back Kunekune pig who knows how to enjoy the simple things in life. She loves spending her days grazing on fresh grass and soaking up the sunshine, usually stretched out and completely unbothered.

Calm, content, and endlessly lovable, Pork brings a peaceful vibe to Vintage Village. She’s happiest when life is slow and sunny – just the way she likes it.

Hello Tom!

Meet Timothy Oscar Mike!

Tom is our resident turkey with a whole lot of sass and a serious gobble game. If you gobble at him just right, he’ll happily gobble right back. He loves showing off by fanning out his feathers and puffing up his chest to remind everyone that he’s the big turkey boss around here.

Confident, loud, and full of personality, Tom never misses a chance to make an entrance. Stop by and say hello—if you dare to challenge his gobble.

Hello Eddie!

Meet Eddie!

Eddie is our mini donkey and the self-appointed younger sibling of the herd. Sociable, charming, and clever, he always wants to be part of whatever the cows are doing – whether they invited him or not.

Persistent to a fault and proudly stubborn, Eddie knows exactly what he wants and isn’t afraid to stand his ground. He’s a bit fussy, a lot opinionated, and completely convinced the world should operate on his schedule. Despite all that (or maybe because of it), Eddie is endlessly lovable and keeps Firefly and Bee on their hooves.

Come meet Eddie at Vintage Village – he’ll probably meet you first.

Hello Pepper!

Meet Pepper!

Pepper is our male Kunekune with a face only a mother could love – and somehow, he makes it work. He’s so ugly it’s actually kind of adorable. What he lacks in good looks, he more than makes up for in charm.

Pepper loves head scratches and treats, and when he’s really happy, he’ll even flash a little smile. Laid-back, easygoing, and wonderfully homely, Pepper is the definition of “ugly-cute” and a favorite for anyone who gives him a second look.

Hello Bee!

Meet Bee!

Bee is our pint-sized Aberdeen Angus with a big, bold personality. She’s equal parts lovable and spicy, and she knows it. Crackers are her favorite treat – and she will absolutely let you know if you’re taking too long to hand them over.

Bee loves stirring up fun with Firefly and Eddie and is usually right in the middle of the action. Cute, confident, and just a little bossy, Bee brings the sass to Vintage Village. Come say hello… if you can keep up with her.

Hello Firefly!

Meet Firefly!

Firefly is a sweet Holstein with a big personality – and she’s convinced she’s a lap cow. She adores hugs, pets, and any chance to soak up attention. Apples are her favorite treat, and she’ll happily remind you of that!

Firefly loves spending time with her herd mates, Bee the Aberdeen Angus and Eddie the mini donkey, and the three are often found playing together. A true drama queen at heart, Firefly is known for hollering throughout the day when she thinks treats are overdue.

Be sure to stop by and say hello to Firefly the next time you visit Vintage Village!
